Witton Park: Walks, cycle routes, events and family activities

Whole range of events take place in the parks and are open to everyone - guided walks, family fun activities, conservation days, story telling, art workshops, music festivals and many more fun events.

There are numerous trails within the park, including orienteering courses and treasure trails. Leaflets for all of these are available from the information point in the pavilion.

The route also links up with a section stretching from the park across Feniscliffe playing fields to join the Leeds and Liverpool canal towpath to lead to the River Darwen Parkway cycle path.

The Beamers Trail a six mile circular walk begins in the park. This is one of the walks that make up the Witton Weavers Way, a thirty-two mile borough-wide walk. Leaflets for the four circular walks and the full trail are available from the information point in the pavilion.
